Description

There are two pairs of gate piers located to the south west and south east of Langdon Court Hotel. These gate piers date from the 17th century and are made of granite ashlar. Each pair consists of large square section piers topped with moulded cornice caps and pyramidal obelisk finials. The main piers feature door stops with scroll tops, while smaller, similar piers are positioned on either side for a pedestrian way.
