Description

Sage Cottage and The Hays form a pair of cottages dating to around the 18th century, with a mid-19th century extension. They are constructed of plastered stone rubble and cob, featuring a thatched roof with gabled ends. The front of the cottages has three windows, with mid-19th century two-light casement windows. A pair of plank doors are located centrally, protected by a slate hood. Stone rubble chimney stacks rise from the gable ends. A parallel range extending to the rear was added in the mid-19th century, with a slate roof.
