Description

Rosemount is a detached house built in the early to mid-19th century. It features a stuccoed exterior and a low-pitched slate hipped roof supported by paired brackets at the eaves. The house has two storeys and three bays. The first floor has sash windows with glazing bars, while the ground floor includes French windows with margin panes, a central partly glazed door with fluted panels, panelled reveals, and a plain rectangular fanlight. There is a verandah supported by later 19th-century cast iron posts that have ornate openwork spandrels and a corrugated plastic roof. The house is prominently situated high above the road.
