Description

The White House is a detached house, originally a farmhouse, dating from the early 19th century. It is built of stone rubble, with a stuccoed front wall, and has a low-pitched slate roof with gabled ends. The house is set at a right angle to the road and has four window bays across two storeys. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars. A doorway is located to the right of the centre, featuring a 20th-century glazed door. Rendered chimney stacks are visible at the gable ends.
