House. Probably early or mid C19, possibly an earlier core. Mixed construction; side and back walls of plastered stone rubble, front wall of slate-hung timber-framing above first-floor level; end stacks with brick chimneyshafts and some old pots; slate roof. PLAN: T-shape plan, with front block, 2 rooms wide, parallel to quay. EXTERIOR: 3 storeys; symmetrical 3-window front. First floor has C20 horned sashes but ground floor has C19 horned 4-pane sashes with horizontal glazing bars and shutters. Central doorway with basket arch contains recessed part-glazed 6-panel door under a fanlight with central vertical glazing bar. Plastered ground floor with stucco quoins each end, alternate blocks with vermiculated rustication. Slate-hung first floor. Plain eaves to parallel roof which is gable-ended to left. Central front-gabled dormer with a pair of small horned 4-pane sashes and shaped bargeboards. INTERIOR: Not inspected, but noted as having C19 stick-baluster stair.
