Description

The Conservative Club is an 18th-century building located on the east side of The Promenade. It is three stories tall and features three windows. The structure is made of narrow-coursed local stone and has flush frame sash windows with glazing bars. A small eaves cornice is present, and the roof is covered with slate. The Conservative Club, along with Leighton House, Nos 1 to 4 (consecutive) on South Place, and Pindar Lodge, Nos 1 and 2 on Victoria Place, forms an important group in this location.
