Description
Worsell Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from around the 17th century, with extensions from the 18th and 19th centuries. It is constructed of stone rubble and is rendered at the rear, topped with an asbestos slate roof that has gabled ends. The building has two storeys and features a long range of four windows. The right-hand side, which is the northwest part, is a later extension. The windows on the ground floor are 19th or 20th-century casements with wooden lintels. To the left, there is a glazed porch from the 19th or 20th century. The farmhouse has rendered chimney stacks at both gable ends and one in the center, which has a circular ashlar flue. At the rear, there is a wing from the 18th or 19th century. The interior has been significantly altered, but in a first-floor room, there is wallpaper covering what appears to be a blocked ogee-arched opening.
