Description

These stables, located approximately 15 metres west of West Sherford Farmhouse, date from the late 18th century or early 19th century. They are constructed of stone rubble and feature a slurried slate half-hipped roof. The building has two storeys, with a wide stable doorway on the ground floor flanked by two small windows, all of which have segmental stone arches. Above, there are two small loft windows. The stables are included in the listing for their group value with the farmhouse.
