Description

These stables, located about 20 meters west of Stowford Grange Farmhouse, date from the late 19th century. They are built of stone rubble and feature a hipped slate roof with brick dressings. The structure has two storeys and three large elliptical brick arched entrances on the front, each with keystones and timber double doors. At the right end, stone steps lead up to a loft entrance. Inside, there is one loosebox with intact partitions and a manger. The stables are included for their group value.
