Description

Hele is a farmhouse that has been divided into two properties, dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century. It is constructed of rendered stone rubble and features a steeply pitched slate roof with gabled ends. The building is two storeys high and has a long range of nine windows. The windows are a mix of 17th and 18th century cross mullion and transom styles, as well as sash windows with thick glazing bars. To the right of the centre, there is a two-storeyed gabled porch that has a tablet inscribed with "ML 1858". The farmhouse also has large rendered chimneystacks at both gable ends and a 19th century wing at the rear.
