The structure is built from stone rubble and features a slate roof with both hipped and half-hipped ends. It has two storeys, with the shippen on the ground floor, which includes flat stone arched doorways, one of which has a red brick surround. Above the shippen is the barn loft, which has ventilation slits and 20th-century wooden stairs leading to double doors at the center. On the left side, there are two raking stone rubble buttresses. The right end (east) has a stone rubble wall that dates from the 19th century. This building is included for its group value.
