Description

These late 18th-century gatepiers and front garden walls are located to the south of Croyde Manor. The gatepiers are constructed of dressed stone with rubble walls built in courses. Each gatepier is square with a roll-moulded course below a pyramidal cap featuring a moulded coving. The walls curve outwards for about 15 metres on either side, with an ashlar capping, and splay outwards at the right-hand end. The structure is included in the listing primarily for its contribution to the group value of the surrounding area.
