Description

The Mildon gravestone, located approximately 9 metres east of the chancel of the Church of St Hieritha, dates from 1804. It is made of slate and features a straight-headed design. The gravestone has an incised nowy arch that is flanked by heart motifs. The inscription commemorates Henry Mildon, a malster who died in 1804, and on the reverse side, it honors Ann Mildon, who died in 1805 at the age of 5.
