The Thorne chest tomb, located approximately 2 metres south of the south porch of the Church of St Hieritha, dates from 1827. It features a brick base with a moulded plinth and a stone slab. The tomb bears an inscription dedicated to John Thorne, who died in 1827, and his wife.
