Description
Weirholme is an early 19th-century house located on Landkey Road in Barnstaple. The building is rendered over rubble and features a hipped slate roof with rendered stacks. It has a double-depth plan with a rear service wing and stands two storeys tall. The front is symmetrical with three windows, featuring 6/6-pane sashes above 6/9-pane sashes. End pilasters rise to a moulded eaves cornice, and there is an entrance porch with a panelled door framed by Tuscan pilasters and a deep cornice. The two-window returns have similar fenestration and details, while the rear of the central stair hall includes a tall semicircular-arched sash with radial glazing bars. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to retain original features.
