The Chapple chest tomb, located approximately 1 metre south of the south-east corner of the south transept of the Church of St Hieritha, is a small chest tomb dating from 1810. It features a brick base topped with a slate slab. The tomb bears an inscription dedicated to Elizabeth Chapple, who died in 1810 at the age of 75 years.
