Description
The dog kennels with a stable shelter located approximately 170 metres east of Tapeley Park House were built in the late 19th century. They are constructed from stone rubble with brick dressings and feature a slate roof adorned with crested ridge tiles and gable ends. A small brick stack is positioned at the right end of the building. The structure has a rectangular plan that includes an axial partition wall, creating three kennels with dog runs at the front and a stable shelter at the rear. Each kennel is equipped with a small rectangular window opening located to the left of a plank door. The runs are enclosed by walls topped with stone coping and tall iron railings. The rear side of the stable shelter has window openings flanking the doorway.
