Whitewashed rendered cob on stone rubble footings; asbestos slate roof, gabled at ends (thatched until at least 1960, old list description), projecting right end stack with bread oven. Plan: Single depth plan, 2 rooms wide with an entrance slightly to left of centre into a passage, the stairs rising opposite the entrance; kitchen/living room at right end, smaller unheated room to the left. 1980s single-storey lean-to bathroom addition at the left end. Exterior: 2 storeys. Slightly asymmetrical 2 window front with a central front door and small-pane probably C19 timber casement windows.
