Description

The front garden walls and entrance gate, located approximately 5 metres south of Brightley Barton, are notable features of the area. The walls likely date from the 17th century and are constructed of roughly coursed stone rubble. The entrance gate, made of cast and wrought iron, was added in the 19th century. To the right of the decorative wrought iron gate, there is a mounting block. The walls extend about 5 metres on either side of the entrance gate.
