Description

This is a mid-19th century house with a shop front, likely incorporating an earlier 18th century structure. The front and right-hand side walls are solid and rendered, while the left-hand side wall is red brick. The roof is slate-covered, and a red brick chimney is visible on the left side, with the upper section rebuilt in the 20th century. The building is three storeys high and has a single window range. The ground floor features a shop front to the right and a house door to the left, both flanked by pilasters supporting an entablature. The shop front incorporates a pair of 19th century display windows canted centrally towards a recessed four-panelled shop door with glazed upper panels. A six-panelled house door is located to the left. The second storey has a canted bay window with plain sashes, and the third storey features a three-light window, also with plain sashes. A boxed eaves cornice tops the facade. The interior remains unexamined.
