Description
The courtyard range of farm buildings located north-west of Hill-head Farmhouse dates from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. It is constructed of painted cob and stone rubble. The stables feature a slate roof with gable ends, while the barn and cattle linhay have corrugated iron roofs, with the barn's roof hipped at the left end. The barn runs parallel to and faces the farmhouse, with the stables positioned on the lower side and the linhay on the upper side, backing onto the road. The barn has double plank doors supported by rounded cob piers, which hold up a projecting canopy, and there are garage doors to the left. The stables include a loft door above three plank doors. The linhay extends into the courtyard and its front is enclosed in the 20th century.
