Description
Two long ranges, consisting of a barn, stables, and a cider millhouse, are located on the east side of Prixford House, forming a cobbled courtyard. These structures are linked to the house by a cob and stone rubble wall with a slate capping, while a wall with a carriageway runs along the fourth side. The cider millhouse, which has a loft above, is situated on the south side and features an intact cider press. This early 19th-century building is constructed of stone and has a gable-ended slate roof. External stone steps lead to the loft at the lower gable end. The stable block and attached barn on the north side include an external stepped mounting block at the lower end, with a round arched window above that is partially blocked. Inside, there are three mangers with original partitions. The barn at the upper end has double doors and is partially floored to provide a loft.
