Description
The outbuilding immediately west of Mornacott Farmhouse is a Grade II listed structure, likely built in the 1870s. It was originally used as a fowl house over pig sties and was disused at the time of the survey in 1987. The building is constructed from stone rubble and features a slate roof with gabled ends. It has a small rectangular plan and includes a flight of external stone steps at the right (east) end.
The exterior is two storeys high, with the south elevation showcasing three doors (one of which has been converted into a window) and a window at the left end. There is a loft door in the right gable end and two doors on the north elevation. The interior was not inspected. This outbuilding has group value with the farmhouse and the late 19th-century buildings located in the yard to the southwest.
