Description

This is a house, now subdivided, likely dating from the 17th century or earlier, with remodelling occurring in the early 19th century. The building has solid roughcast walls and a slated roof. There are brick chimneys on each side wall; the one on the right has been rebuilt at the top. It is two storeys high with a three-window front, the two facades being roughly mirrored. House doors are situated at the outer ends, while a third doorway, leading to Scamp’s Court at the rear, is positioned off-centre to the right. Number 106 has box-framed 6-paned sash windows to the left of the ground floor, and 2-light wood casements with 8 panes per light to the right. The upper storey has 2-light wood casements with 3 panes per light. Number 107 features box-framed sash windows with a 3-over-6 pane configuration. No interior inspection has been made. The building possesses group value for its contribution to the streetscape.
