Description

SS 62 SW SATTERLEIGH WARKLEIGH AND WARKLEIGH 3/203 Lych-gate north of Church of St - John GV II Lych-gate 1908. Stone rubble and ashlar base with open timberwork upper walls and hipped clay tiled roof with leaded ridge swept up to ball finials flanking timber cross on the ridge. Depressed four-centred arched gateways with foliated spandrels and verses above. Timber gates with turned balusters to open upper section and 3 panels to base.
