Description
The gate piers, railings, and gates at the entrance to Castle Hill House date from the mid-19th century. They are made of ashlar and iron. The structure features two rusticated ashlar gate piers topped with caps and finials shaped like hemispheres, separated by a square block at the equator. The cast-iron gates have spearhead designs, with matching panels of railings on either side leading to square iron open piers, one of which is connected to Meadow Park Lodge.
