Description
This is a 19th-century barn with an attached horse-engine house, located approximately 10 meters east of Croyde Farmhouse. The barn is constructed from rubble stone and features a gable-ended roof, which is pantiled at the front and covered with corrugated iron at the rear. There are large double plank doors on the north side of the barn and an opposing plank door on the south side. The horse-engine house has splayed ends and a corrugated iron roof. A beam has been removed from the horse-engine house, and mangers have been added for use as a shippon. This building is included for its group value with the nearby farmhouse.
