Description

The Comer headstone, located approximately 17 metres south-west of the south-west corner of the south aisle of the Church of St James in Kings Nympton, is a twin headstone from the mid-19th century, created by Manning. It is made of slate and features a straight-headed design. The headstone includes a verse around the top and inscriptions commemorating William and Elizabeth Comer, who died in 1831 and 1866, respectively, along with a verse at the base.
