Description
This is a barn and attached shippon located approximately 25 metres west of Town Estate Farmhouse, likely dating from the late 18th century. The structure is built of roughly coursed rubble, with some cob in the upper part of the barn's front wall. The barn features a slate roof that is hipped at the left end, while the shippon has a lean-to roof made of corrugated iron.
The barn includes a large double doorway at the front, which has been partially infilled with a wooden partition and a single plank door above the threshold. There is also a rubble porch with a slate roof supported by a cob and timber lintel. The shippon has a blocked doorway with a timber lintel and two small openings to the right.
