Description
The front range of the planned farmyard is located immediately south-east of Home Farmhouse and is dated 1862, which likely dates this structure as well. It is built of random rubble limestone with brick dressing and features a gable end slate roof. This long, low, two-storey range has a central tall round-headed wagon entrance that projects slightly and has a separate gable, topped with a weather vane. There are three openings on either side of the entrance, and a late 20th-century garage entrance has been inserted on the left-hand side. This range complements the Home Farmhouse attractively.
