Description
This is an implement shed located approximately 40 metres south-east of Knowle Farmhouse, dating from the mid to late 19th century. It is constructed of volcanic rubble and features a slate roof. The shed is a high, gable-ended structure set at a different angle compared to the other farm buildings and is built over a culvert. There are large double doors at the north-east end, facing towards the farmhouse, and volcanic stone arches at either end of the culvert. Additionally, there is a small opening at ground floor level on the right side of the south-west side. The interior includes a 3-bay king post roof. The shed was apparently built intentionally over a ditch, and its specific purpose remains unknown.
