Description

No. 7 Gold Street is a house that has been converted into a shop with accommodation above, dating from the early to mid-18th century. The front is made of painted brick, while the rear wing, visible from the side passage, features a combination of exposed brick (some painted) and roughcast. The roof is tarred and slated, and there is a base of a red brick chimney on the left side.

The building has three storeys and is two windows wide. The shop front was added in the late 20th century. The upper storey windows have flat gauged arches and feature flush framed sashes with two panes, each sash containing a single upright glazing bar. There is a bracketed wooden eaves cornice. The interior has not been inspected.
