Description

This is a linhay, or covered livestock shelter, dating from 1838, located adjacent to Westown Farmhouse in Hemyock. It is very large and tall, consisting of nine bays that are divided by square-section rubble piers. The structure features planked doors below, with the exception of one bay which is made of breezeblock. The roof is gable-ended and covered with pantiles.
