Description

This is a range of barns located 40 metres north of Dunsmore Farmhouse. They were built in the 19th century but may rest on a plinth from the 16th century. The structure is made of coursed rubble and has a gabled-end slate roof. The plinth is possibly contemporary with the gateway arch and parts of the farmhouse, featuring a moulded design. The other architectural elements, including doorways with brick arches, openings, and hay-loft access, along with the roof, which has an A-profile with a king-post and diagonal struts, are all from the 19th century.
