Description

This headstone, dated 1788, is located approximately 8 metres south of the aisle of the Church of St Peter in Zeal Monachorum. It is made of brown-coloured local mudstone and is a very small, round-headed upright slab that stands about 400 millimetres high. The headstone features inscribed upper and lower case lettering that resembles childlike writing, reading: '1788, E.C. aged 10'.
