Description

The stables located 17 metres north west of Craddock House date from the early 19th century. They are constructed of random rubble limestone and feature a gable end slate roof. The building consists of three sections: a central carriage house flanked by loose boxes on the right and a tack room on the left. The central section is taller and has loft access above the lintel of the now-blocked carriage doorway. The entrances to the side units, along with some of the windows, are designed with pointed archways and Y-tracery heads. Inside, some of the original stalls remain intact.
