Description
Bakers and the adjoining outbuilding to the south-east is a house that was formerly a small farmhouse, likely built in the 18th century, with extensions added in the mid to late 19th century. The structure features plastered cob on rubble footings and has a corrugated asbestos roof, which replaced the original thatch. The main part of the building is a two-storey, two-room cottage with a central door and two 20th-century casement windows on each floor. To the right, there is a mid to late 19th-century extension that has a four-bay roof and an internal cob dividing wall, which includes an agricultural store that is open to the roof, as well as a byre and hayloft. To the left, there is a single bay extension to the cottage with a hipped roof.
