GV II

House. First half of C19. Plastered cob on rubble footings; rubble stacks topped with C19 brick; slate roof. 2-room double-depth house facing north-east. Rear and right (north-west) stacks. 2 storeys. Symmetrical 3-window front of 12-pane sashes (all hornless and with some old glass except right hand ground floor). Central C20 4-panel door and overlight with glazing bars, panelled reveals. Gabled porch with octagonal section posts (plain caps) and flat arched vallance. The granite threshold is fashioned to rise each side as pedestals for the posts. Deep eaves with pairs of shaped brackets. Roof hipped front and back. Some original joinery and plasterwork inside.
