Description

No. 46 on High Street is a building dating from the 16th century or earlier, featuring three storeys with a timber-framed front. It has an 18th-century modillion cornice and generally restored windows and timbers. Notably, above the first floor, there is unusual coved framing with carved upright members, and on the left side, a carved figure serves as an angle bracket. The building includes four-light lattice windows and has a modern shopfront. It is topped with a hipped slate roof and contains some internal features. Nos. 39 to 47 on High Street form a group.
