Description

No. 17 Cathedral Yard is a building dating from the 16th to 17th century. It features a timber-framed structure with a five-storey gabled plaster front. The ground floor has a modern shop front, while the first floor showcases a Georgian bow window with glazing bars. Above this, there are splayed oriel windows with leaded lattice glazing. Some parts of the old structure have been exposed internally on the first floor. This building is part of a group that includes all the listed buildings in Cathedral Yard and Nos. 1 and 2 Deanery Place.
