Description

The building comprises four flats, located at Ferry Road in Topsham. Originally constructed in the 18th and 19th centuries as the residence of a shipyard manager, it is a long brick house distinguished by its double roof. The central section facing the road dates to the early 18th century, characterized by sash windows with segmental heads and a Georgian doorhood. Most of the windows are sash windows with glazing bars and flush panel doors; however, Flat 4 is from the 19th century and retains 19th-century sash windows. The property incorporates two Georgian bow windows on its river frontage and is roofed with slate.
