Description

No. 19, Furlong, is a two-story limestone house dating from 1850, which was converted around 1910 from a former sail loft. The house is characterised by various decorative features, including Gothic windows and a ship’s figurehead, all brought from elsewhere. It projects into the estuary and incorporates stone retaining walls that are similar in style to those at Wixels. Inside, the house contains church panelling. The roof is hipped and covered in slate.
