Description

No. 11 Silver Street is an 18th-century building, altered in subsequent periods, prominently situated in a group of listed buildings along Silver Street. The three-story building has a wide, three-window front. The upper floors retain sash windows, with three lights, and some original glazing bars on the first floor. The exterior is stuccoed and rusticated, with panelled flank pilasters featuring enriched caps and vermiculate bases. An entrance door with fielded panels is located on the right-hand side, above a fanlight. An early 19th-century wooden shop front, with a full entablature, glazing bars, and Greek pilasters with enriched caps, is also present.
