Description
Numbers 5 and 7 (Manley) and the garden wall on Silver Street are late 17th century buildings that have been altered. They are two stories tall with an attic and are rendered and whitened. The first floor features two sash windows with glazing bars and a central blank panel, while Number 7 has a gabled casement window in the attic with glazing bars. The ground floor has been altered for 19th-century shops. The interior includes hewn purlins, 16-inch floorboards, and a partially winding staircase. The garden's stone end wall, which is 10 feet high, is part of an ancient wall. These buildings are part of a group of listed structures in a very important central location on Silver Street.
