Description

Beavis Terrace in Newtown consists of a small terrace of stucco-faced cottages built around 1840. The cottages are two storeys high and feature a low-pitched gable end slate roof with a shallow eaves band. Each cottage has two windows on the first floor—one of which is blind—and one window on the ground floor. The windows are two-light central hinged casements with four-centred arched top panes, and there are drip moulds over the first-floor windows. The doors are recessed and consist of four flush panels, some of which are glazed, and include rectangular fanlights.
