Description
Heath Gardens is a house that was previously two cottages, dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century. It is constructed of cob on a stone plinth, rendered, and features a half-hipped thatched roof. The building originally had a three-room cross passage plan and is two storeys tall. The front facade has a range of four windows and two front doors, which are sheltered by modern gabled slate-roofed porches, with boarded sections above the entrances. The ground floor has three-light windows, while the upper floor features three three-light windows and one two-light window, all with lintels positioned well below the eaves level. The windows are timber casements with two panes, which have been renewed. There is a left-hand internal end stack, and at the rear, there is a thatched continuous outshut along with a thatched rear wing that has a back lateral stack at the junction of the main range and the wing. The interior has not been inspected.
