Description

Salston Lodge is probably an 18th-century building, with later alterations. It is a two-storey structure with plaster walls, a limewashed exterior, and a roof covered in scallop tiles. A square chimney is positioned centrally. A gabled porch, also with a scallop tile roof, features a four-centred arch and carved barge boards. There is a two-light leaded casement window in the end gable, set above a small, canted ground-floor oriel window with mullions. A mullioned oriel is on the ground floor, and a two-light leaded casement is in the gable. Salston Lodge forms a group with the Salston Hotel and a lodge located opposite the hotel's entrance.
