Description

The outbuildings, link wall, and garden wall of Mead and Petit Champ date from 1633 and are located along Fortescue Road. These small structures are made of cob and have thatched roofs. They are connected to Mead and Petit Champ by a stone and cob wall that features slate coping. Although the wall is somewhat overgrown, it continues along the south side of the road as a garden wall. Fortescue Farmhouse, the outhouse, and the outbuildings of Mead and Petit Champ, along with the link wall and garden wall, create a cohesive rural group.
