Description
Fortescue Farmhouse outhouse, located to the north of Fortescue Farmhouse, is a late 18th-century building. It has two storeys with a rough cast front and a thatched roof, featuring stone parapets at the gable ends. The facade is symmetrically arranged with four 19th-century two-light marginal glazed casements that have small panes. Originally, there was a trellis porch, which has since been replaced by a conservatory. There is also a single-storey extension made of stone rubble to the north, which is thatched as well. Fortescue Farmhouse, this outhouse, and the nearby Mead and Petit Champ with their outbuildings, along with the link wall and garden wall, create a cohesive rural group.
