Description

Higher Griggs Outhouses, located on Fortescue Road, are likely from the 17th century. This two-storey cob farmhouse has its long axis positioned at right angles to the road and features a thatched roof. At the west end of the farmhouse, there is an external stone chimney made of flint and Beer stone, which has offsets. The windows include both sash and casement styles from the 19th century. A single-storey range of outhouses extends from the farmhouse along the road, constructed from stone rubble and cob, also topped with thatched roofs.
